About the Founder
Dr. Fareed Dawan (POC), Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
With more than 15 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, nanostructured materials, and advanced energy systems, Dr. Dawan has directed and co-led multiple federally funded initiatives in collaboration with NSF, NASA, DOE, and DoW/DoD.
His leadership philosophy centers on bridging academic research and industry practice to strengthen the nation’s technological competitiveness. Through IATC, he integrates academic expertise, federal partnerships, and innovative research to advance technology development, workforce training, and sustainable economic impact across multiple sectors.
